Hello World!
From AP CS 1:
It's only the second week of school, and we're already learning how to make a variable! Wow! (Sarcasm!)
I have to admit that it's necessary, though, with absolute beginners. Oh well. Anyways, I now have time to work on other programming and computer-related semi-projects.
On that note, Mr. Stephens (teacher) has sent me this amazing book bringing you through the steps of making a computer from the very beginning (Nand gates, in this case). It's called "The Elements of Computing Systems" from MIT Press. It's also free to read online and includes a hardware simulator. As of now, I've gotten through chapter one and am about to start learning how boolean arithmetic works. Fun!
