I'm still trying to figure out what to do in class now that my raytracer is complete. Last time, I brought my Arduino. I made a LED turn on (very easy), and then used it, unconventionally, as a light sensor (not quite as easy). However, I think that all of that requires too much hardware; it's not really appropriate for a computer science class.
Class itself, however, is still alright (like always). We finished the harder part of references. It seems strange, though, that although that is itself computer science, it is only Java. Unfortunately, the class appears to be more about learning Java than about learning the subject. Actually, though, that would be good (except that I already know quite a bit of it). I wonder what we'll get to after this.
I'll keep thinking: what shall I do now?
