This week I'm taking a temporary break from that virtual computer, and starting something else. Right now we're going over strings and methods to use with them; in other words, we're still mostly in two or three line programs. With that said, I still have to pay attention or I'll miss some really small detail on worksheets; it's almost like a trick question. Not really, though.
Therefore, I'm starting on a new project: a raytracer. My ultimate goal, I believe, is to be able to render a picture in any size of various spheres, planes, and maybe cubes with color and reflection (I probably won't spend the time to include transparency). Fun! I'll most likely post pictures here. There's not much point in doing so yet, though; right now all I get is a solid black rectangle.
