Remember that post two weeks ago? The one where I said that Computer Science I is learning the small things?
I think I disagree.
Computer Science [ 1 ] is not about the small things; it's about the big ones. You learn the language and how to do things. You actually learn very little computer science (except its most basic principles).That's next year, hopefully.
And on that raytracer- right now is math. I got bogged down for a few minutes where my quick quadratic solver (actually an assignment) did not work. Oops. I really should have tested it earlier. Anyways, I have it all written out on a piece of paper somewhere, along with the math for a ray-sphere collision. Next is planes, and cubes should be trivial from that.
